ABOUT BEACON HILL FC

Beacon Hill Football Club was founded in 1990 and now boasts more than 460 playing members across junior, youth, and senior age groups. We also have over 120 girls playing football at the club and a disability team.

BACKGROUND

The aim of the club is to promote football across the local community and surrounding area.  As a club, the health, safety and welfare of every player is our first and most important priority. This is closely followed by our commitment to providing a happy and inclusive environment for players to learn and develop their football skills.

Our club is open to all players regardless of gender, race, nationality, ethnicity, colour, religion, sexual orientation or perceived ability as a footballer. We adhere to The FA Respect Codes of Conduct and value sportsmanship, fair play, respect and positivity.

We rely on the support and help of all parents to manage logistics on match days, local sponsors for club kit, and volunteers to help with the ongoing management of the club.

CLUB ETHOS

We strongly believe that football is a game to be played and enjoyed by everyone, regardless of ability.  Success should not be measured solely by the trophies we win, but by the number of children who choose to play for Beacon Hill FC and continue to play for us throughout their childhood, with a sense of belonging and most importantly with a smile on their face, whatever the result.

However, football is by its nature is a competitive sport and so we also want our players to achieve their best as an individual and as part of a team.
